About Us
IDEAT Africa is a pan-African social impact organization committed to
bridging the digital divide by equipping young people with the skills, tools, and
opportunities to thrive in a technology-driven world.

Originally launched as Teens-Launch Africa (TLA) in 2022, the initiative began by targeting teenagers aged 7–17 with little or no access to computers. TLA introduced these young learners to basic digital literacy, problem-solving, and imaginative learning,
particularly in underserved schools.
As the initiative expanded, it became clear that the vision stretched beyond just teenagers and basic digital skills.
The rebrand to IDEAT Africa (Initiatiave for Digital Education, Access for Teens) was a strategic move to reflect this broader mandate; reaching youth, schools, and communities across Africa with inclusive and scalable digital education, while fostering innovation and leadership.
A digitally literate and empowered generation of Africans who are equipped to create, compete, and contribute to global innovation.

To bridge the digital divide by equipping children and young people across Africa with inclusive access to technology, digital education, and leadership opportunities; unlocking pathways to jobs, entrepreneurship, and innovation

"To empower 50,000 children and teens across Africa with digital and leadership skills to change Africa by 2030"
At IDEAT Africa, we develop and enhance education, training, and employment opportunities for our beneficiaries through impactful programs.
Our focus is on equipping them with the skills and knowledge they need to become productive and engaged members of society.
